To People Who Care About Road Safety: 

PursuitSAFETY is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, committed to reducing the number of deaths and injuries as a result of vehicular police pursuit and response call crashes. We are working for a safer way to prevent these tragedies from happening to others and to save lives, especially innocent bystanders and police officers. 

We are grateful for pursuit reduction technologies such as STOP Technologies, which aims to keep our communities safe and minimize deaths of innocent bystanders. 

PursuitSAFETY would like to thank STOP Technologies for its ongoing efforts to provide law enforcement with pursuit reduction technologies. We believe that pursuit reduction technologies will help save innocent victims and keep the community safer. 

Every week more than three innocent victims are killed in these high-speed police pursuit crashes for something that could be handled in a safer way. In one day, 4-year-old Adalina Lilah Perez and Tina Vital, her 43-year-old grandmother, were killed in a chase to capture a 13-year-old who took a family member’s vehicle. Sadly, too many of these deadly chases involve teenagers who take a relative’s car. They are repeated with the same outcome. 

We continue to investigate technology that will provide law enforcement with the tools they need to apprehend suspects in a safer way. We look forward to the day when the use of technology begins before there is even a chase. STOP Technologies is part of the solution in these challenging times, and we stand with them today in their efforts to continue to save lives.
